What is Sex Addicts Anonymous®?

Sex Addicts Anonymous® is a fellowship of people. We share our experience, strength and hope with each other so that we may solve our common problem and help others to recover from sexual addiction.

"Our primary purpose is to stop our addictive sexual behavior and to help others recover from sexual addiction. We find a new way of living through the SAA program, and carry our message to others seeking recovery. Membership is open to all who have a desire to stop addictive sexual behavior. There is no other requirement. Our fellowship is open to women, men, regardless regardless of age, race, religion, ethnic background, marital status, or occupation. We welcome members of any sexual identity or orientation, whether they are gay, lesbian, straight, bisexual, or transgender." - SAA Basic Text, p. 1-2

Our primary purpose is to help those struggling from destructive and compulsive sexual behaviors to find freedom from those behaviors through the teaching and practicing of the 12 steps of Sex Addicts Anonymous® and recovery skills we learned in meetings.

The website provides resources and meetings information for members in recovery or those looking to start or restart their recovery program. The website is focused primarily on meetings in the greater Boston and New England area.

BostonSAA.org uses the resources provided by SAA® and the  SAA website to support our local meetings and fellowship.
